Campus Beauty

We at MSU are privileged to work and live on one of the most beautiful campuses in the world. Beginning 150 years ago, at the time of our founding, the visionaries who established MSU conceptualized a park-like setting where the trees, plants and flowers gracing our campus would also be an important resource--a laboratory for research and teaching. Today, that tradition continues with extraordinary care given to the maintenance and ongoing development of our 5200-acre campus park. It is designed to provide both knowledge and aesthetic delight.
