Presidential Initiatives

President Simon is involved in a number of initiatives related to changes and challenges facing higher education in the 21st century. Global competitiveness, economic expansion and MSU’s commitment to forming strategic partnerships on behalf of the public good—in Michigan, across the country and around the world—are at the forefront of her ongoing efforts.
