Message to students: Michigan primary election reminder

Dear Michigan State University Student:

MSU has long encouraged Spartans to participate in civic engagement. An important opportunity is the Michigan primary election on Aug. 4.

An absentee voter ballot for the primary election can be provided to you if you request one from your city or township clerk. If you’re eligible but haven’t yet registered to vote in Michigan, there’s still time for that, too.

Visit for all the 2020 election information you need, both for the Aug. 4 primary and for the Nov. 3 general election.

I encourage you to exercise your right to vote and be certain your voice is heard.

Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D.
