Position Overview
Michigan State University (MSU) seeks to fill the position of Vice President for Government Relations (VPGR). The VPGR develops, articulates, and executes the university’s comprehensive government relations strategy across all levels of government, representing all MSU locations and campuses in furtherance of the university’s mission and priorities. The VPGR reports to the MSU president.

Finalists will undergo on-site interviews, engaging with representatives from designated key stakeholder groups. It is Michigan State University's practice to not release the names of candidates involved in the interview and search process except as required by law. In accordance with the State of Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), MSU may be required to release the names of finalists in the search. Candidates will be notified prior to being selected as a finalist.
